Wedding Postponed? Get Inspo from Bride Allison's Backyard 'I Do'
Rocking our Lola Earrings, Allison said 'I do' in an intimate, backyard wedding. Like many of you brides out there, Allison & her beau had to postpone their larger ceremony & beautifully improvised until they can celebrate with friends & family in the fall.
Allison & her fiance wed in their backyard with her parents on FaceTime, their marital officiant, and a selected witness. Allison & her fiance remained in accordance with the Stay-at-Home order and social distancing guidelines.
'Flowers were an arrangement sent by friends (I had originally planned to cut down my calla lilies from the front yard, but decided to grab the arrangement out of the vase last minute), and his boutonniere is a blue bonnet we got from our neighbor's yard.'
'I ended up wearing your Lola Earrings and they were the perfect completion piece for my impromptu wedding dress (that I ordered a week prior).'
'It rained the entire day. I shut my dress in the backdoor as I tried coming down the "aisle." Forgot his wedding ring. He accidentally put on "Still Fly" instead of Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles.'
'It was a hilarious day and far from the elegant, black tie affair we had planned, but it was perfect--we wouldn't change a single thing.'
Right now, weddings are taking on a new look & we want to hear your story! How have you adjusted your wedding day plans?
